So a few days overdue (seems to be a trend in our house) but Happy 4th of July anyways!
Weren't we totally taken by suprise last Saturday when we were headed to the beach for the morning and happened upon a parade. We'd been looking for a parade to go to that day and this one was right under our noses and we had no idea. Lucky for us we got there 15 minutes before it started. Colbster LOVES parades so we passed on the beach and opted to find ourselves a nice plot of grass in the shade.
Waiting for the parade... might as well have a snack!

What parade would be complete in our neck of the woods without some horses?!
And to our total suprise a local yocal parade which we thought might be about 20-30 minutes long turned out to be over an hour and a half. Made us a little late for Parker's 1st visit to the doctor, but they were understanding and besides they don't turn 1st baby visits away for being late. All in all a fun morning considering as it was totally spontaneous.
