Sorry for the terrible quality photo, but it was just too classic Colby not to share. Colby has his "friends" that he sleeps with - 2 stuffed friends each night. Could be the same 2 each night, could change each night, could swap out every night, either way there is always 2. On this particular night it was Piggie (you can see the pink pig towards the back his bed) and Doggie.
Looks like he was feeling especially "close" to Doggie on this particular night. Do you see?? Yep, he zipped him in his feetie jammies with him. Guess this was a big brother who also practices "babywearing" or "stuffed friend wearing".
Side note... yes, he is wearing Sponge Bob pajamas. NOOOOO, I do NOT like Sponge Bob. NO I would NEVER have bought anything ever that has Sponge Bob on it. I AM NOT A FAN. They were a gift and he likes the bright yellow, he doesn't even know who Sponge Bob is. So because he just likes feetie pajamas and only had (at the time) 1 or 2 sets that fit him I didn't have the heart to just put them away.
Side note #2... Yes, he is 4.5 and still sleeps in his toddler bed. And fits. And won't be moving to a different bed anytime soon as he failed that test miserably when we were hotel hopping on our Thanksgiving trip north. More on that another day... tonight I still laugh at the photo of Doggie zipped in to Colby's pajamas! (Even IF they are Sponge Bob!)

It's funny you mentioned he's still in a toddler bed, because I was just looking at the picture thinking "When did he finally move from the crib??
